Users may need to be deactivated in Flywire if they change job roles, go on extended leave, or leave the organization. Deactivating a user simply removes their ability to log into Flywire as a staff member to manage patient accounts and to run reports, and they can be re-activated at any time. Deactivating users can be performed as a bulk action based on the "last login date" or on an individual basis.
How to deactivate multiple Flywire users at once based on their last login date:
1. Click your name dropdown at the top right of the Staff Experience screen
2. Click Manage Users
3. In the Manage Users screen, click Deactivate Users
4. In the Deactivate users window, select the criteria for X days since login (default is 90 days)
5. Click Proceed
The user will show in the Manage Users list with a status of "Inactive".
How to deactivate a single Flywire user:
1. Click your name dropdown at the top right of the Staff Experience screen
2. Click Manage Users
3. In the Manage Users screen, click the user to deactivate
4. Click Edit
5. Change the Account Status to Inactive
6. Click Save
