What is the Payments API?
API stands for ‘Application Programming Interface.’ APIs are a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. In this case, the Payments API allows Flywire to post transactions directly into your EHR in real time. Instead of sending a daily reconciliation file with all transactions, Flywire can utilize the API to send payments and refunds in real time to reflect in your EHR.
